CMC was established in China in 1998. Its engineers and employees have integrated German precision and Chinese craftsmanship into a harmonious synthesis. Whether a 1:12, 1:18, 1:24 or 1:43 scale model, the average CMC miniature car is hand-assembled from hundreds of parts. With more recent items, this number has increased to over one thousand and in the case of Mercedes SSKL (M-055), totals 1,888 parts. CMC is committed to using the right materials of the finest quality. Many parts are made of stainless steel or copper and the body is covered in an authentic world-class paint. Likewise, seats are upholstered with genuine leather or textile, and the trunk is nicely carpeted if the original is so decked out.
