This diecast model Alfa Romeo Montreal (1970) is Metallic Brown and features working steering, suspension, wheels and also opening bonnet with engine, boot, doors.
First seen as an unnamed concept car at the Expo 67 exhibition in Montreal, Canada, it soon acquired the name of the city where it was first seen in public. The first production car appeared at the 1970 Geneva motor show and was powered by a 2.5 litre fuel injected V8 engine coupled to a five speed ZF gearbox and limited-slip diff. Despite the modern looks of the sleek Bertone bodywork, the chassis and running gear were taken from the Giulia GTV.
Film fact: Michael Caine drove a metallic brown Montreal similar to this in "The Marseille Contract".
1:18 scale (approx. 22cm / 8.7in long) - made by AUTOart.
